Healthcare workers likely to lose out

For millions of British citizens (and loyal Royalists one assumes) it will mean a day off work and the chance to kick back, enjoy some Pimms and wave a Union Jack for a few hours. However for some of the hardest working employees of the State, those within the NHS, the Royal Wedding may come and go in a heartbeat:

Wedding ring to be made from Fairtrade gold?

Discussions are taking place regarding the fabrication of the wedding rings, and several sources indicates that Kate and William are considering having their ring made from "Fairtrade" gold - which would be the first Wedding ring to be made from this ethical, "green" source.

Wills and Kate have already broken with convention by opting for a relatively low-key ceremony by royal standards. Now Fairtrade miners are hoping the couple will seal their love on April 29 with wedding bands made from their gold.

Prince William dopplegangers required!

It seems that the throngs of Kate Middleton lookalikes will struggle to make as much money as they want over the coming years...because of a nationwide shortage of William lookalikes.
