Royal Wedding Sick Bags are a Big Hit

If you’re finding the British royal wedding too much to stomach and are fed up of Prince William and Kate Middleton being rammed down your throat, then a souvenir sick bag could be just to your taste. A 24-year-old UK-based graphic artist, Lydia Leith has produced the special item with a picture of the happy couple, topped off with a crown and the words “Throne up”, to help those who risk being nauseated by all the pomp and ceremony surrounding William’s marriage to Kate at Westminster Abbey on April 29. Leith, who hopes her brainchild will be taken in the light-hearted manner she intended, had the idea of producing a Valentine’s Day sick bag but then turned her attention to the wedding.

“I keep getting so many nice emails from people saying thank you for coming up with this idea, it’s just what we need,” she told the media.

They are the latest whacky item among the wave of royal wedding souvenirs, which also include novelty condoms whose box urges lovers to “lie back and think of England”.
