3D Royal Wedding Broadcast?

A senior figure at Sky's parent company BSkyB has expressed hope that the royal wedding will be screened in 3D.

Mike Darcey, the media giant's chief operating officer, insisted the technology is well suited to "event television", reports the Press Association.

This could include everything from major sporting occasions to arts and cultural shows, along with anything "where you really, really make an appointment to view it", he told attendees at a meeting of the Broadcasting Press Guild.
